Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

General Guidelines

  • The abstract must address scientific questions, detail clinical observations, or contain primary scientific data.
  • No revisions can be made after the abstract submission deadline, unless requested by the reviewers.
  • Abstracts generally may not be withdrawn once submitted. If you prefer that your abstract be withdrawn if not accepted for any presentation at the EuPFI conference, you must indicate so during online submission.
  • The presentation at the EuPFI conference┬ámust reflect the submitted abstract. In particular, the abstract title, authorship, and scientific content of the presentation at the conference┬ámust match the submitted abstract, although updates on results may be added.
  • Abstracts should be written in clear and concise English, so that reviewers are able to focus solely on the scientific merits of the submission. We encourage non-English-speaking authors to have their abstracts checked for grammar and spelling prior to submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://eupfi.org) are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end and abbrevations are spelled out when used for firts time in the text.
  5. If you wish to participate for PCCA poster award and EuPFI young Scientist award. Please ensure you have clicked the appropraite boxes in award participation section aboove. Also ensure you have completed the EuPFI young scientist award application.
